Cheryl Willett DDS, MS

Cheryl Willett DDS, MSDr. Cheryl was raised in the suburbs of Chicago. From the age of 8 she had an interest in pediatric health care. Growing up in a family of artists, she also developed a strong love of arts and crafts. One day while talking to her father about what exactly to do in health care, he suggested pediatric dentistry and called it a great combination of medicine and arts and crafts. She started shadowing dentists while in college and knew it was the profession for her.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Miami in 1993 and completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Northwestern University in 1997 where she earned the Outstanding Service Award and the American Association of Orthodontists Award. She received her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Maryland in 1999. She earned her Masters in Oral Biology from the the University of Maryland in 2001 with a thesis titled “Predisposing Factors to Pediatric Dental Anxiety.” She is the former Dental Director for St. Joseph Oral Health Programs. Dr. Willett is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She moved from Chicago to Sonoma County when she married Dr. Ramos. When not being a mom-taxi or working, she enjoys yoga, cooking, and making photo albums.

Dr. Willett enjoys giving children a positive dental experience and educating parents about prevention. Dr. Willett joined Dr. Hodges and Dr. Ramos in 2011 covering the office while Dr. Hodges traveled the world and is now a permanent part of our pediatric dental team.
